Honey Suckle – Scottland Yard Farm

Family size 14×16 (inside dimensions) wall tent!! We have had many requests for family accommodations. This tent has a queen bed and twin daybed with trundle making it perfect for 4. The tent has a small frig for your snacks and beverages as well as a coffee station. There are no restrooms inside glamps. There is a charming outdoor shower and toliet and two beautiful bathrooms with showers located in our Great Hall building by the natural pool. There is a spacious 8 x 14 covered porch with a wine barrel bistro and 4 chairs. This glamp also has a fire pit and private park style grill with grilling tools.

This listing does accept pets! Please refer to our house rules before deciding to bring Fido.

*The Honey Suckle isn’t insulated and during the colder seasons, it can get chilly. This is a seasonal tent, so please prepare for the weather accordingly. For our guests comfort and well being, we provide electric blankets and all beds are required to be made with the mattress protector!

After a short walk you will find our Mercantile store, our Traveler’s trunk boutique and beautiful natural pond for lounging around it only (swimming is only for the Scott Family) and relaxation. The natural pond’s beauty and tranquility is complete with a lovely waterfall and our pet Koi! The Koi are always eagerly awaiting their koi treats from our guests. These treats can be purchased from our small Mercantile store along with horse treats, rabbit treats and bird treats. The mercantile also has snacks, honey and beverages, along with camp cooking supplies you may have forgotten. Our fun little travelers trunk boutique has some interesting finds from our travels as well as local homemade items! There is a natural pond for lounging around it (swimming is for Scott family only), swinging tree hammocks, children’s playground, bistro tables everywhere, coin op laundry mat with 1 washer and 1 dryer and plenty of farmland to explore! We border the lush and lovely Hammond Hill State forest. If you love cross country skiing, mountain biking and walks we border You have access to miles of state trails!! The barns and pastures are restricted from guests’ entrance. Scottland Yard community consists of several small clustered homesteads. Each Sunday is ‘Sunday Funday’ BBQ at Scottland Yard from 2-7pm. Monday-Thursdays from 2-6 we have family swimming at Scottland Yard. Our guests often join us for this BBQ joyful time. If you happen to arrive or are enjoying the facilities during these hours, please know that you’re welcome to join us if you wish! Please know this is a farm and the farm animals are early risers. We provide earplugs in the bedside table for those of you who are not! We also have other glampers and guests. There are over 200 wineries in the Fingerlakes Region and many are within an hours drive. The closest one to us is Six Mile Creek Vineyard about 5 miles away. Visit waterfalls or state parks such as Buttermilk Falls, Taughannock, Robert H. Treman, Ithaca Falls. We are less than 1/2 day trips from NYC, NJ, PA, Rochester and Buffalo. We really like the idea of the honor system and guests can settle up their purchases via different forms of payment, (venmo, Zelle, cash or checks) at time of purchase. ADDITIONAL FEES

Pet fee additional $35.00 per night per pet.
Additional fee of $35.00 per person per night after the initial 2 people (this includes children above the age of 2)
Children aged under 24 months stay for free. (Must provide bedding/sleeping accommodation for infant)
Cleaning Fee is a one time fee of $60.00 and is added to the accommodation price when booked

Rules

Dishes used by you are to be washed, dried and put away after each use.
No smoking inside! Ashtrays provided on property
Pets fee is $35.00 per night per pet. They must be on leash at all times.
Pets must get along with other pets and children.
Pets may do their business in the nearby field. If business is done on the lawn it’s up to the owner to pick up and discard poop.
Your pet must be crated inside if you leave him/her for any length of time.They may not be barking constantly day and night.
No dog swimming allowed in the lined ponds on the property.
If you are bringing an infant under 2 you must provide all their bed and bedding needs or they may sleep with you.
Minimum 2 night stay if Booking on a Friday
Quiet time begins at 10:00 PM. Please be conscious and respectful of other guests.

Free check in is from 3PM to 9PM, if you are to arrive later that 9PM please be advised we will need to make special arrangements with staff and you will need to let us know before hand.

WiFi service can occasionally be impacted by weather, power outages, or provider-related issues that are outside of our control. While these situations are rare, we want guests to be aware and able to plan accordingly. Wifi is stronger in the common areas.

Any additional guests or visitors beyond the number included in your reservation must receive prior approval from the host. Approved extra guests or visitors will be charged $50.00 per person, per day/night, including children over 2 years of age.

The maximum occupancy of the rental may not be exceeded under any circumstances. Approval for additional guests does not override the maximum occupancy limit. Unauthorized guests or visitors may result in additional charges and/or termination of your reservation without a refund.

Natural Pond & Safety:
Guests are welcome to relax and lounge by the pond area and feed the koi fish. Swimming is reserved for our family only and is not permitted for rental guests.

- Please do not let any outside animals roaming the farm inside the dwellings.
- Pets that bite other dogs or humans or exhibit any aggressive behaviors are not welcome and if brought to the farm will be asked to leave with their owners without any refunds given.
Infants must sleep in guest-provided beds.
Friday bookings require a 2-night minimum.
Quiet hours begin at 11:00 PM.
Earplugs are provided in the studio for guests who prefer not to rise with the birds.
